Many Thanks

TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE 34TH ANNUAL
OHIO RIGHT TO READ CELEBRATION!

We appreciate the efforts by administrators, teachers, school staff, parents and families, PTA/PTO, community leaders, public libraries, newspapers (NIE staff), authors, illustrators, performing artists, athletes and sports teams for involving

76,863 Students in the 34th Annual
Ohio Right to Read Celebration!

More than 150 Awards were mailed to the schools that reported activities on OCIRA’s Application. Public schools, parochial schools in Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo Catholic Dioceses, community and charter schools participated.

OCIRA is pleased to recognize special efforts by seventeen districts that achieved 100% building participation.  Many schools have been part of Ohio's Right to Read Week since the 1970’s; others are new to the program.  We encourage you to celebrate in 2011-12.
